House Raffle Alert: Westerville House Raffle

There have been quite a few house raffles in 2008, and Ohio’s 2008 Westerville House Raffle has become one of the first for 2009. The original November 20, 2008 drawing date has been postponed until mid-January, so house raffle tickets can be purchased until Friday, January 16, 2009.

The five Early Bird drawings have passed [details here...], but the final drawing in January will have 54 cash prizes ranging from $250 to $10,000 along with the house as a Grand Prize. With no more than 4,000 house raffle tickets being sold, the chances of winning any prize could be as good as 1:74.

Update 1/21/2009:
The Westerville House Raffle drawing was held on Jan 20 as scheduled, but not for the house. The winner of the 50/50 raffle is posted on their site, but the amount that was won is not. The 54 additional cash prizes were not awarded.
